I am so excited to bring this mini retreat style afternoon to you. 

This workshop, aims to bring you to a place of stillness and calm, to find that inner peace that is within all of us, it just gets a bit lost sometimes with this thing called life.

It is so powerful to take time out to slow the breath down, to reconnect with the breath,  to let the body be still, the perfect antidote to the busy chaotic life that we find ourselves in.

Where:

On-line in a closed Facebook group, the recording will be available for a week or you to practise. 

£15 On line (Early Bird if booked before the 21st of September)

£18 Full-Price (after the 21st September)

Early Bird Prices finishes on the 20th September 

Format of the workshop:

We will have a 90 minute gentle movement, pranayama, yin and restorative yoga session. This will be deeply relaxing and restoring. Followed by a Deep Guided Relaxation and Crystal Sound Bath.

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED HEADPHONES FOR THE RELAXATION. AND SOUND BATH PART OF THE CLASS.

Have as many blankets and cushions that you can, make sure you are warm and wear layers as the body can get cold when we move the energy and relax in this way.

One of the things that I have taken away from one of Karen's classes today, amongst other things such as her words of wisdom , from both books,  and also her own experience . Karen's classes are more than just a "yoga class ", if you want to know why, then book a class, take part, have a go and see how you feel. Thank you Karen, I am so glad I had the courage a year ago to book a Yoga class with you.

Hi, I am so glad you have found your way here, to introduce myself, I am Karen and I have been practising yoga since I was 16, so 30 years now.!

I qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga BWYQ Level 4 500 hours yoga teacher training and am a bit addicted to learning. I have done a 50 hour Yin training and an advanced qualification of another 50 hours, and also trained in restorative yoga, teen yoga, children yoga, pregnancy and baby yoga and more.

I love teaching Yoga, it  has been a central part of my lifestyle for so long,  I feel called to pass on what helps me. 

 Before teaching yoga, I studied and received a Bachelor degree in Law and a Masters in Human Rights and Civil Liberties, but I kept being drawn back to the holistic lifestyle. I decided to leave the corporate world and concentrate on teaching yoga and other holistic practises after the birth of my  first child. 

 For me, the combination of yoga, essential oils,  self inquiry and nature, provide a  transformative, healing, and empowering experience. 

I have had breast cancer twice and several surgeries, so I really understand the impact that life can have on the body and emotions and the healing power of yoga. At present as well as being a Yoga teacher, I am a life coach, essential oil educator and holistic therapist, teaching and sharing the tools that keep me calm and have helped me recover from deep trauma.
